Helder da Rocha was born in Penafiel, Portugal, on October 6, 1984. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto (FAUP). From 2007 to 2009, he collaborated with Carlos Nuno Lacerda Lopes, and from 2009 to 2011, with Sérgio Sousa. He lived in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, from 2011 to 2018, where collaborated with Adriano Mascarenhas. Returns to Porto in 2018 and starts his own architectural practice.
